Aztoragarri - Final release Devlog 5
Bon dia, everyone.
Welcome back to another Aztoragarri dev log, and an important one as a matter of fact.
As said on the previous dev log, the second chapter of the game had already finished development by late December and, logically, it was implied that Chapter 3 had already begun its development, which it has!
Although not any major gameplay changes, apart from a new unique puzzle type, have been made, the first half of the main part of Chapter 3 is already build and programmed.
Story advancements:
Taking place in La Seu d'Urgell, Principality of Catalonia, the scenery is meant to gameplay-wise be a mix of the previous two chapters, still conserving the open spaces and big areas of Chapter 2 with the closer and more claustrophobic corridors of the first one, although leaning more into the former.
Visually, it is set a dusk, which is a big contrast compared with the previous chapters, which were set at either night or underground locations. The idea is to make this as beautiful as possible, generally speaking.
And, of course, all the corresponding buildings and puzzles relevant to the first half of the chapter. These being; the city market, the city factory, the restaurant, part of the city cistern, and the residential houses.
